As I painted this I became aware that almost all of the colours of the rainbow were represented. As a result I got it in my head that the painting should be named Roy G Biv except that I was missing the R and O. Initially the trees in the distance were a dark purple/blue, so I took a bit of creative license and decided that for the purposes of this painting, the season was changing which allowed me to shoot in a bit of red and orange. Voila! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet!
