I miss the north. Lately I have been yearning (yes, actually yearning!) for the smell of pine trees and fresh lake air. I have been dreaming of plein air excursions and wishing a plan for a painting retreat would fall in my lap.

Love this. I dream of the smell of pine too. Oh for summer, and my school house surrounded by pines and spruce.

I sooooo love the idea of your school house, Barbara. It sounds dreamy. Summer seems a lifetime away. It is supposed to snow here tonight. Sigh.
