Painting a scene like this gives me hope I will see green again... and I don't mean because I am feeling envious. Well, maybe I am of those who live in the Caribbean. We are supposed to get more snow tonight. It's not funny anymore.

Hi Nicki,

This is beautiful. It reminds me of the quarry at Elora, where I used to have a beautiful studio when I was a student. I did not know how to be an artist, and wasted my great year there with cheap rent. Gorgeous painting.

Thank you so much Barbara. I am tickled with this one. I love the grass mounds in it.

I wish I knew you then. I can imagine the energy and enthusiasm in Barbara the student. Cheap rent, hmmm, if only we knew then what we know now!

XO Nicki
