For me, this year is supposed to be about learning, growing and experimenting. It is already April and I don't feel like I have been on track with this goal yet. Next month I will be starting my drawing class at Atelier 2302 and I will feel good about getting that underway. Sadly, I have only spent one day awhile ago (in January?) playing around with my pastels; smudging them, trying shapes and colour combinations. I need a better action plan than that to reach my goals for the year!

This was the piece, of the three I did, that actually got somewhere.

Wow I love it. Sometimes I think we all have multiple personalities. I think you have to trust the self who isn't on schedule. Lighten up.
This is gorgeous. It isn't about quantity of work, it's about how amazing each piece is. You've got that going girl.

XO Barbara

I really like this piece - some interesting colour combinations happening here! Keep on smudging : )

Niiiiiiice! I love what those colors are doing to my eyes.

I'd say the best way to move forward with your action plan is to just do it... Have fun with it, but mostly, just do it. (Pushy, ain't I?)

Barbara- yes, lighten up- I know! I am the one putting pressure on myself. I need to chill.

Thanks Kim... you have been an inspiration as I watch you delve into the wild world of abstraction. Your growth in this new area has been astounding to me.

DON! Hi!

I have been so neglectful! My apologies, but I have been keeping tabs on you on Facebook. Yes, I like the colour combo here and what it does to my eyes too! Have fun and just do it... good advice.
