Here is today's effort. I am pleased with it. I like how crisp the reflection in the dugout looks. I was completely relaxed while painting it tonight and felt very calm despite my fatigue and scratchy throat. I used a new colour that I got recently with a Michael's coupon- Cobalt Turquoise. Mmmmm. I'm not sure there is anything in the material world that makes me more happy than art supplies.

I think I'll have to agree with you about the joys of art supplies - ain't nothin' like 'em!
"Dugout" is hands down my favorite of the first 16 - and they've all been good. Your calmness translated into a confidence that just oozes off the canvas. Beautiful.
Get better, sister... I hate that you've been struggling so much with illness.

Thanks Don! Wow... your hands down favorite! Great news. We'll see if that stands after the last half are done.
I'm pounding the vitamins and Cold FX so my fingers are crossed that I'm on the upswing.

Fabulous, Nicki!! (I thought maybe it was from singing with Peter and Elton that your throat was sore - may you heal quickly...)
Hi Linny! What a treat to see a message from you! If I wasn't also so exhausted and achy I might just chalk my scratchy throat up to that!
Now I'm going to scooch over and see what you have been up to...
Hi Nicki,
Another beauty. I agree with you that art supplies are a complete
treat.
You take my breath away with these beauties.

(Plus I really wish I could see the landscape you are painting)
Hi Barbara,
Yes, and now Micheal's has a coupon this week on oil paint and brushes... buy 1 get the second for a penny!!! I'm in trouble!
I'm so glad you are enjoying these little paintings so much. Makes me happy! I'll show the big paintings soon.
