Well this was hard to photograph! No matter the lighting circumstance I try, I cannot get it right. This is as close as I can get, but it is not a good pic. Many apologies.

These are the pink clouds that greeted us as we arrived in Georgian Bay... I was talking about them in my last post. I took a bit of artistic license with the colour/darkness of the sky and the effect- if you could see it in person- is dramatic. I will try the pink clouds again with a sky more as it was that day. The very first painting I painted on the trip was, in fact, the pink clouds. It was late at night, but after we got settled and ate, I really wanted to start working. I did a little painting from the images in my mind of the sky we saw as we drove to the cottage. You can see it here... "A Grand Welcome".

Hi Nicki,

Having that photo problem myself today, and that's okay. This is magnificent any way you look at it.
Wonderful.

Hi Barbara, I have to figure out how to get a photo of dark paintings... and I find purples are hard to capture as well. Glad you like it anyway! ;)
