I am gearing up to paint the largest painting I have done yet. Leading up to it I am going to do a few studies in order to figure out some of the colour palette and ideas of the light patterns and composition. Lots to think about. It may or may not pan out.

I am with you girl. Try meditating -- to get your nerve up. It is helping me. How big is big? Yay!

I love big. The best thing to do is begin on the big one.

You are right- the best thing to do was just start. The three little studies helped, but really I had to just get paint on the canvas and start. It is done and is 36 x 60"- BIG! I am very happy with it.
