It's been awhile since I posted- I hope you are still out there! I took
my kids to the lake and we stayed a bit longer than planned because the
weather was so nice. I took my supplies thinking I would
paint when they kids were sleeping, but as happens when you are on
holidays, bedtimes come later than usual and so when they went, I was tired and ready too! I have been painting a little, but admit it is hard now that
school is out. I hope to put some time in tomorrow. The last time I was
at the studio I painted a 16 x 16" sky that had me walking on air by the
end! I used the left-over paint to do this little one. I love the soft palette.

I'm looking forward to showing you more work in the upcoming week.

Love the painting, and of course we're still out here. I may not be able to respond much in the coming few weeks. Aim to take the relaxed approach myself.

Hi Barbara,
I'm glad you are still there... and it might just be you! :) I feel it is a bit quiet in blog world.
I'm pleased to hear you are going to find some time for R&R. You deserve it. Enjoy!
Hugs,
Nicki
I love these acrobat clouds and it sounds as though your kids had a whale of a time!
I think even when we’re not working – we are working – soaking up impressions and storing up ideas for next time picking up where we left off.
Hi Marcia,
Yes, the kids had a blast! We spent most of this particular afternoon in a quiet bay floating around and exploring the shoreline. And trying to catch minnows without a net!
I have thoroughly enjoyed these little skyscapes. I have loads of photos to use in the future if the mood to paint quirky clouds should strike again... which is likely!
