I have been doing some paining makeovers over the last several weeks. I
have some work at the studio that I am seriously not happy with, so what
do I do? Store them indefinitely? Throw them out? Burn them? Or
rework them and hopefully salvage the situation? Honestly, some are
getting filed under "G" for garbage, but there are others I am trying to
resurrect. This is one.

I like the makeover approximately one thousand times more!

Hi Nicki,
I don't think of it as a makeover. I think of it as revising, or continuing. If a painting stays in my possession, there's a very good chance the work will continue. I love where this has gone. Beautiful.

Yes, I see your point. In my mind I think of it as a makeover because the original felt like a finished piece which I posted as such. Now, seeing the painting still in my possession with fresh eyes, I am no longer happy and want to remake it. Or revise it. Or continue it. This could be a case of you say po-tay-to, I say po-tah-to!
:)
Love you!
