I first painted the Waskesiu River in 2009 and I recall the sunlight was
shimmering and sparkling on the water. Since it is one of my absolute
favourite places in this great country, it seemed fitting that I paint
another shimmery version on July 1st, Canada's 150th birthday. I like this one.
