Quirk

Quirk: An Experimental Sky
6 x 6"
oil on board

This is one of the boards I played on this past week. I worked fast. I moved the paint around until what I saw seemed right. It is quirky. It is expressive. It is an idea I would like to play with more. And I feel shy showing it to you.

I like it..soft and understated

I appreciate that, Page, and I agree with your words "soft and understated". It's hard to tell on the monitor, but the thick paint and brushstrokes really add to the effect in person.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

It's too bad we have to be so self conscious when we try something new. I like it. Beautiful colour, and lovely playfulness. All good.

Yes, I was nervous to show it, but I really like it so in the end I thought I'd put it out there.

You are bold and brave with this whole trying something new business!!! Your iPad paintings have been so fun and so good!
