We went on several hikes during our painting trip and were able to get some good photographic resource material. On this particular day we stopped to sketch and paint and this is what I came up with as I sat right on the edge of the rushing water. The rapids rounded the corner and then went over a waterfall at the top of which someone had built an Inukshuk. It was a beautiful location.
I am planning to tackle a large canvas with a similar theme.
