It is not often I love it so much that it makes me want to cry, but here we are. It's a version of "Exquisite Release of the Day" which I painted for the Assiniboia Gallery and which also made me teary. I have plans to do a 20x20 and also perhaps try a larger rectangular version.

The thought of you crying over your painting is making me cry. I love that you love it. It is such a wonderful feeling to love something you've created! I am
not crying now, just filled with joy and admiration at the whole idea. Yes!
Do big work you love! Working on something like that right now. Mostly
laughing and saying, "Oh woman!" Great feeling. You inspire me.

Thanks Barbara. I can get emotional over work by other people but my own doesn’t usually get my tears flowing. It’s a pleasant surprise to react to something I have created that way. There is just something about this painting. It kind of feels like simmering passion to me.
