Grassland Drama

This is the piece I painted during Art Trek. I wasn't sure I would be comfortable painting with people around but it ended up being okay- mostly I worked during the quieter moments because I was a bit shy about it. By the end of the two days it added up to being enough time to get a small painting done.

I used my 6 x 6" daily painting "Thicket" as the inspiration for this one.

Clearly the people didn't get in the way. Lovely painting.

I like the dramatic sky.

Hi Barbara,

I wasn't worried about people being in the way, just more about being self-conscious as I worked. I didn't want to be demonstrating per se. It was all fine, though and I had such an enjoyable weekend.
